Shell will give a Lunch Lecture on Wednesday the 29th of May, in which Wytze will tell you all about the investment and construction of Shell's new HEFA biofuels factory that is currently being built in Rotterdam. This new factory will produce 820,000mt of biofuels (Sustainable Aviation Fuel and renewable diesel) for sectors that are difficult to decarbonize. We discuss the logistical challenges of operating such a factory, with a focus on securing enough raw materials to make the fuels. Wytze will also elaborate on the decision-making to build such a factory, looking at market developments, government policy and the financial outlook. Make sure to register on this page, join in RA 1501 and enjoy some free lunch while listening to Wytze from Shell!
